"I am so honored to have been included among your friends and associates over the weekend.

It was like being at a really informative cocktail party with everyone, without the cocktails!

Who needs a drink when the energy in the room is SO intoxicating!"

"I thought the conference was great...and after 17 years of Conferences, Seminars, Trade Shows and Training Programs, I'm a tough customer!  I'm usually not a "Panel" fan, but yours worked, also thought your speakers gave enough content without giving too much "Commercial". I've attended similar seminars where this wasn't the case.  Thanks too for running a "Tight Ship", I really appreciate that you held the speakers to their time slots and didn't let them ramble on. :-)  But thanks the most for the inspiration and kick in the butt to get my book done!"

"Just wanted to let you know how absolutely blown away I was with the 21st Century Book Marketing event in San Diego. You assembled an all-star roster of the best in the business, and they held nothing back. Not only was the content of the event unbelievable, the networking opportunities alone were invaluable!"

"I was amazed at the amount of valuable take away data and networking that I got from the event

that I could contact or implement immediately and have impact on my business. It is rare to get this

and I got a lot! Anyone who wants to try drinking from the book marketing fire hose this is a great spout!"

"Thanks so much for the eye-opening, mind-blowing 21st Century Book Marketing conference this weekend. I've already made significant steps to change the way I think and work with Social Media. While the wealth of information presented was at times overwhelming, I came away with the realization that the writer now has more power than ever before. The predominance of keywords like authenticity, passion, enthusiasm, building relationships and community partnerships gave me great hope, not only for publishing, but for our world."

"The 21st Century Book Marketing Seminar was a magical weekend, beyond my
wildest dreams!   Your event changed my life.  The consistent message of each speaker and panel member triggered my personal power.... I truly left your seminar believing for the first time
that I was writing a bestselling book and I could successfully market it and earn a good income."

"Just a quick note to say thank you again for such a splendid conference. I am still digesting the fountain of information and following up on all the valuable contacts. Contrary to some of the conferences I have attended, yours was content rich, stimulating, practical and inspirational. Thank you for a WOW experience.

Much success, Leonard"

"Arielle,  I just wanted to thank you so very much for having the Huffington Post editor at your conference!
Because of you, I made a pivotal introduction. At long last, I am blogging over there.   I'm very, very excited! Thanks so much!!  I'm also really excited -- my very first op ed piece ever that I've been working on for days was just accepted in the Newark Star-Ledger! I used your feelingization technique--that and submitted the piece to 31 publications! I really tuned into how great I'd feel if it was accepted, and it was! I'm thrilled."

"Hi Arielle, I loved the Weekend ‘Marketing 21’  Fabulous info and speakers – the best in the field.  Got lots of things to put into motion. Again appreciated the Soft Sell – made it more conducive to me to buy – which I did.

Many Blessings"

Motivational Speakers & CoAuthors Meet in San Diego

Jack Canfield along with The Power of the Platform coauthors, shows off the latest edition: Speakers on Purpose

I just returned from Arielle Ford & Mike Koenig’s “21st Century Book Marketing” seminar in San Diego. It was an incredible seminar and I am SO GLAD I chose to attend. The Power of the Platform coauthors Yasmine Bijan, (Speakers on Success), and Marion Richardson and Barbara Khozam (Speakers on Purpose), also attended.

When we signed up, I was afraid the seminar might be one sales pitch after another for personal development, internet marketing, and publishing products, as so many seminars have been lately. I’m often reluctant to endorse other events or encourage my associates to attend events without having experienced them first-hand. Needless to say, I was surprised and delighted by the quality of the CONTENT that the speakers shared. This was possibly one of the best seminars I’ve ever attended.

Sure, the speakers had products to offer – that’s how most successful motivational speakers earn their living – by selling personal development products. I am no exception. It’s no different from visiting a store. You wouldn’t get mad at Barnes & Noble for selling books, would you? :)But the speakers at this event cared were excited about the opportunity to share their knowledge; they were not CONSUMED with trying to sell. The bottom line was that this seminar offered the LATEST information on marketing books (or anything, for that matter), by using the very latest technology. The biggest mistake speakers make today is in not delivering enough content – especially when their events have a decent admission fee. That was NOT THE CASE here! KUDOS to Arielle &  Mike for delivering OUTSTANDING content and information! I highly recommend that if you are a speaker or author you should plan to attend their 2010 seminar.

The lineup of experts was strong – from celebrity keynote speakers Jack Canfield and Marci Shimoff – (who, btw, are BOTH Power of the Platform coauthors!) and Debbie Ford, to panelists like Rick Frishman with Morgan James Publishing, Mari Smith, a Relationship Marketing Expert, and John Kremer, an incredible Book Marketing Expert. The panels offered RICH information and resources, the speakers and panelists were the FINEST in the business today, and the attendees were happy to be there. What a fabulous event!
